I had high hopes for this one but it was just bad. It felt like we missed out on so much of the story. Was this supposed to be the second in a series? We knew nothing about “other mommy”. I wish we could have had stories of her and Bella together but instead we just get Bella telling us that she wasn’t so bad before and now is? How? Give us some storyline.

It’s also laughable the way they tried to get rid of this “demon.” First tell it to leave, then try to stab it?! And when that didn’t work they said “let’s just trauma dump on this kid”?! Be so for real. I love these types of books but this one is just not good. If you want something similar but well written, try Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak!
