I am equal parts confused and petrified over this book.
The premise was engaging and interesting - it was the very thing that drew me in. I thought the use of VR in the book was pretty intriguing considering I don’t have much knowledge of it. I did like the mystery thriller element of it but at parts it did get pretty confusing for me, with so many different elements coming in.
Towards the tail end of the “big reveal”/plot twist and somewhere past the 75% mark is where I got confused a lot about what was going on? I couldn’t really tell what was going on with the ending either and why certain things ended up the way it did (like the game glitching etc, how did that happen?)
I felt like I had more questions than answers at the end. I could see this being produced as a movie or TV series though, I think that’d be pretty interesting.
