A spectacular end to a helluva series! Deep, complex and conflicted characters with smooth as silk pacing and bombastic action. As the critics quote on the cover says, Mr. Ryan does a fantastic job melding so many different genres together and I loved his take on each one. From the super-solid steampunk naval theme to the dragon-riding, magic-slinging fantasy archetypes. The climatic ending really seals this series in the best way possible and bumps this set very high up on my list of favorite trilogies. Highly recommended for all!!
