The Inevitability of Us: Coppertin Universe- A story of friendship, love, loss, & self-discovery. by Heidi Cowan, LaBrie James, LaBrie James

"You set the rhythm"

The Inevitability of Us was a beautiful story full of love, loss, grief, and healing. You are definitely in for an emotional roller coaster with this book. The story was really unique. There were no chapters and the story flowed effortlessly between the four main characters' points of view. I enjoyed experiencing the story through the eyes of each of the main characters.

I really enjoyed the romance as well. I loved that there were two love stories in this book. Readers get a forbidden romance and a friend-to-lovers romance both filled with pining, banter, and spice. The romance is also a bit of a slow burn with amazing tension.

The character development in this story was wonderful. I enjoyed the messy and realistic healing journeys of each of the characters in this story. The found family that grows and develops throughout the book is really heartwarming. The love and support they all have for each other as they work through their grief was amazing.

Thank you for my ARC copy of The Inevitability of Us. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
