I've read this so many times, I lost count. Maybe 4? 5?
I still think back to this book fondly. This was the first time I'd read a book that mentioned fanfiction in real life, and I'd felt so connected to Cath and related to her familial struggles. And I of course loved Levi and their romance. Back then, fanfiction wasn't as publicly talked about as it is now, I while others may disagree, I truly think that this book was huge in breaking that barrier.
I'd read this my junior year of high school, thinking about college and my life "after." I had so many worries and insecurities, and this book truly helped me in so many ways. I still go back to comfort read this once in a while, as it will always hold a special place in my heart.
