Bloody Heart by Sophie Lark
4.75
I don’t usually like second-chance romances, I’m a petty person and I get offended on behalf of the characters in the book I’m reading so they often feel aggravating to me. I definitely went through a range of those emotions reading this book but I ended up loving it anyway.
There were just a couple of things I wish were expanded on even more, not because they necessarily would have added a whole bunch to the story but just because they’re things I would have liked to see. I would have liked to see more interaction between Dante and Simone’s parents at the end. They had all those problems with him and then Henry went missing and Simone got back together with him. I would have liked to see how they react or choose to (dis)respect their relationship this time around.
