My Lady Jane: The Not Entirely True Story by Jodi Meadows, Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand

2.0

The TV show is so much better. Namely, because characters don't use Shakespeare or Monty Python quotes in conversation and believe they've made them up themselves. But also, it's just much better put together than the book. This thing is 400+ pages and I'm convinced at least 100 of those are just the rambling inner monologues of characters who get less and less interesting the more you read about it.
Just watch the show.
