I was hesitant about this romance because it’s a romance and it’s a thick romance! No reason this book needed to be this darn long BUT I enjoyed it! I loved the town and the characters. This is my type of grumpy man, okaaayyy he was a true grumpy asshole and mean to everyone except when that little spark is lit ooooooo shux it was good! And the fact he fell first 🫠🫠 I’ve been told book 2 is just ok and since book 3 is now available I’ll probably just jump to that one because baby Lucian had his moments and I was like exqueeze me who are you and how can I…nevermind! 

Now I did not by any means care for the dirty talk coming out of daddy Knox’s mouth lol gross we can scrap that. But this was so much fun and the writing is really easy to just sit and read and enjoy, the characters are fiesty and you really do just fall for everyone!!
