This is a debut novel by the amazing Amber. So proud of you writing your very first book.

This book was a fun fae fantasy to get lost in. The banter was great and the story interesting. The fae in this book are a lot more like the original mythology, some have animal features, they are a lot more vicious and cruel. The world is not as magical as some other stories make it out to be. And I really liked that.

I loved the fact that we had 4 main characters, it was unique and it fit well to read their povs. I loved Anin so much, she made me laugh a lot by just being herself, and the banter between Kes and Ciaran was premium. Give me good banter and I’m down.

The spice was good. It was a lot more fast paced since it’s a fated Mates romance, things progressed quick.

The ending though. THAT ENDING.
