i mean… i don’t really have that many thoughts. i didn’t realise it would be a “stream of consciousness” poetry book, or else i wouldn’t have picked it up.
i liked the prose, and the illustrations really tipped this over to the 3-star rank, but idk this style of poetry always feels incredibly surface level to me. i expect you to go beyond basic concepts in poetry and to me it didn’t feel like this did.
the writing style really evoked a 2020-feeling in me tho. don’t ever do that again 🙏
