Crimson Covenant by Samantha Whiskey
5.0
I cannot express how much I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
From start to finish, this book held my attention. Alek and his band of assassins had my attention from the first page! Lachlan, Benedict, Hawke, and Ransom were some of the most well rounded, intriguing characters I’ve ever had the chance of knowing. As I read, I constantly wished for each of them to get their own book!
Lyric wasn’t an annoying heroine which is always a plus. I loved the way the author built her character to be strong yet vulnerable. I’m so glad the author didn’t just give us a bunch of denial on her part concerning learning about the vampires and her part in the history of the supernatural species. It gave the reader and enjoyable story of fated mates who didn’t spend the entire book denying the bond. Plenty of steamy love scenes and heartfelt moments between these two. So, get ready for plenty of “Awww” moments between these two.
I screamed at the end of the book to find that Lachlan was getting his own story in Book 2. I won’t spoil it for new readers, but I cheered when I found out who his mate would be!
On to book two!
Happy reading!
