Finding Delaware by Bree Wiley
Huckslee • Taylor
….
“This can be like neutral ground or something. A fake place. Like…Delaware.” - “…Out here, nothing has to exist. No fights. Just us. Just Taylor and Huckslee.”
….
Was this the greatest read of my life? I have only a sacred handful of these, so I never judge by that scale. Reading suppose to make you escape. I escaped. Did I agree with everything that happened? No. Did I have the time of my life while reading it? You bet I did. Messy mess was messy and I loved every second of it. If this is a debut I see sooo much potential for the future. This world build + found family did tug at my heartstrings, so character driven and I am intrigued for what’s to come next. It’s now torture waiting for Matt and Xed. (Xed. Xed. Xed.)
….
Bring Me The Horizone - Can You Feel My Heart
.
Bring Me The Horizone - i apologise if you feel something
….
“I handed him a weapon to use against me.” // “It’s lovely. Different. Soft.” // “Cold fingers slip down my arm, running from the crook of my elbow to my wrist before falling away. It’s a touch that sends goosebumps over my skin.” // “And I need something to take my mind off the current subject of my obsession…” // “Say it. Say you want me to stay, Huck.” // “…as if our very existence depends on each other.” // “But I feel like that guy drowned in a pool in December…” // “…and you weren’t there.” // “summer rains, bunny rabbit feet, a pair of dark brown eyes, and the smell of chlorine.” // “…he brings out the absolute worst in me.” // “No, I wanted revenge. And I got it. But it feels like the cost for it was my goddamn soul.” // “And I just listen. Like I should have been doing from the very start.” // “Right over my heart.” // “Ask me again in the morning.” // “My pretty boy.” // “The bad thoughts. Don’t let them win. I’m here now. We’re here. How we got to this point doesn’t matter. Delaware, remember?” // “…melding our very molecules until every part of him makes up every part of me.” // “We melt into each other, intertwining until the very imprint of his spirit becomes forever entangled with mine.” …
