I technically could say I DNF’d this book. At around 50% I was skipping to listen to the intro parts of each chapter and listened to part of the last few chapters and the full epilogue.
This book could have been good but it just wasn’t. I liked the characterization of the ML until it was clear the only humor from this book would be him bubbling his way in this new era like a boomer.
We are told he is hot as he slowly types into a phone and says “boomer” things. I kinda lost my mind when he mentioned his loins bc what the heck.
I wish we saw more depth from both of the leads and the climax would have been way better with literally anything else. Literally anything else.
A poor quality production video on TikTok revealing the vampire race is as ridiculous as the way we are supposed to have the hots for a 300 year old man that acts like a 60 yr old.
