OMG I love this book. A future classic. History hates lovers. The writing is so beautiful and provocative. Past tense first person is literally my favorite POV. Achilles is literally the worst for some of what he does in the book. Obviously. Like even up until the end. BUT PATROCLUS!!! Omg I love. He makes this book so worth while. Omg I could read Madeline Miller forever and be content. Love love love. The writing. The quotes. The heartache. The queerness. The coming of age. The desperation and yearning even after death. Beautiful
