Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline Boulley

I thought it was alright. It was predictable. No surprises for me. The main character wasn't really that likable and honestly proving how smart she was over the top. Her mother... one word-- pathetic. Took forever to get into the book I almost put it down so many times but I really wanted to like it so kept on. I did slowly get into it near the middle-end but it was so hard to believe anything. Too many things too many unanswered questions. Some characters were so over the top. The only characters that seemed even slightly interesting were the grannies and the aunts. There wasn't enough of them. I didn't hate it. I probably would read another book by author.

and what caused the hallucinations!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? ?!
