We Are Satellites by Sarah Pinsker

I ripped through this. I thought the family drama was well constructed, and the way she wrote about the socioeconomic ramifications of widespread Pilot implant adoption rang true. I particularly liked the tone of the book — it felt elegiac and inevitable, which made the very ending a bit jarring for me. But not enough to spoil the rest of the experience.
