Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
I almost gave up on this in the first two minutes of listening to the horrible narrator clunking out the terrible f-bomb inner monologue, but then kept hate listening to see how bad it could get. Unfortunately it went from ridiculous to just stupid.

First, wow was Ryan too dumb to live. The whole meet cute is because she helps him with his taxes in the cafe...because he can't figure out that he keeps minimizing the program and that's why it's disappearing.

I DNFed when his agent tells him a photo of him has gone viral and he's confused and asks something relating to diseases. This man is supposed to be 25, not 65.

Also, just a smidge of research would do wonders. I'm fine with things not being entirely medically accurate in this kind of a book, but when someone is hit in the head so badly they're unconscious for a day, why on earth would you say they didn't have a concussion? Do you think that equates brain damage? It actually would have worked well for the way it was being used in the story.

Furthermore, they don't keep unconscious people in the hospital overnight for "observation." And then once they wake up dump them unwashed, without a shirt, back on the street. Even the US medical system won't do that and this was set in Canada where I presume they don't suck as much.

It just wasn't necessary. She was down on her luck enough and would have had reasonable reason to go home with him without any of that.

I couldn't even keep on to see if the sex scenes were any good, it's just too painful and not in a so bad it's good way.
