Regretting You by Colleen Hoover
4.0
Another Colleen Hoover book I have been blessed to add to my bookshelf, I feel so lucky to read her work and be inspired by her writing.
Her ability in character development is what blows me away with every book. I particularly enjoyed the complexities of both Morgan and Clara throughout the story. How they both share different aspects of their personalities dependant on situation. Their relationship, between mother and daughter, was very layered and it was eye-opening seeing Morgan take blame, undeservedly, to keep her child's happiness protected.
The twists and turns in this book were so unexpected, I didn't catch on to them at all. I thought it was a great paced story with everything tied up nicely at the end. Except one issue. Where the book loses a point from me is the letters... Frustrating. And that's all I'll say as to avoid a spoiler.
So another great Colleen Hoover book done and I'm looking forward to the next one.
4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
