Dare I say,, 5 star read????

I had very low expectations for this going in so keep that in mind when I say this book hit. It was very well paced & I thought some of the writing techniques she used were so clever & well done,, I was impressed. Also it reminds me of all my favorite books (iron widow, legendborn, thg, red queen (#1) & also my fave to make fun of, divergent). It was like a better version of divergent to me with older characters & better writing. A lot of times I do my star rating based on how much fun I had & I definitely can say I had 5 stars worth of fun. 🫡 Hopefully the rest of the series lives up to this one. 

Also I think it’s a feat that I only hated the characters I was supposed to hate. I often hate ones I’m supposed to like so good job @ Rebecca.
