That did not go the way I expected it to go, but I'm still impressed. I thought it was going to be a tragic love story, but what transpired was far more exciting and far more action-packed than the story that I had hoped for.

Dombang reminded me a lot of the Fire Nation village Aang, Katara, and Sokka visited in the third episode of Book Three, where Katara was The Painted Lady.
