I’m writing this review because I’ve seen too many people get through the gut-wrenching masterpiece that is the duet that comes before this and stop instead of reading this. Doing that is flat out robbing yourself of this absolutely divine conclusion to Cecilia and Tobias’ story.<br />Kate Stewart’s attention to detail and ability to evoke such emotion through her writing is on full showcase with this book in a way that creates such a cathartic experience for her readers. I originally read this on kindle before rereading a hard copy, and with each reread I continue to be blown away by the way each scene, line, and even word was intertwined by her with such careful purpose. It is a much slower burn than the first two, but just as compelling for its exploration of so much more than just their romance. Without a doubt, this is a book that I know I will continue to come back to over and over again, and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.
