Dust to Dust by Benjamin Busch

4.0

I just finished this book last night. It's an interesting collection of essays that weave together nicely and end with a note from the author's deceased father. I liked the growing up sequences and the author's sense of adventure with the natural world. They lay a good groundwork for the adult Busch. The time in Iraq was brilliant. I liked the detailed descriptions of activities and the lack of political baggage we sometimes see in accounts of the war. He mentions living in Iowa City for awhile. I wonder what he did here? He doesn't reference the Writers' Workshop or give any details. Anyone know?
