The Little Italian Hotel by Phaedra Patrick

slow-paced

0.5

Patrick tries, but this book falls flat. Ginny could easily be the villain of the piece: superficial, judgmental, profligate spender, demanding, self-centered, obsessed with her perfect life.

This group of disparate characters never gels, their quirks aren't endearing, and who cares if you get into the water at a bar at a beach? There's much ado about nothing.

Patrick gives opportunities for the group to bond but they don't.
