I really enjoyed this alien romance but I didn’t love the way their romance began.

Ariel was kidnapped by Anzons, people who had also slaved Ral. Ral wins her as an award.

Ral is Zorn and these people are definitely not feminist but despite that Ral is possessive and protective of Ariel.

All in all I found this world really interesting and can’t wait to read the next book.
