The story of Persephone and Hades continues, with more exploration of their shifting relationship as Persephone starts her Underworld internship and they both try to fight their feelings for each other. There's some really nice stuff in here about Persephone's background, and a lovely chapter about her friendship with Eros, segueing into some of his backstory. Overall this instalment felt more hopeful and less bleak than the last two volumes, but we know more trouble is on the horizon.
