This volume makes up for the messy previous one. It's basically Kill Bill Vol.1 compared to 2. It's all action and pay-offs and some amazing panelling, reveals, and eye-popping double spreads. It's nice to have the consistent art back again, and Matt Wilson's colours are still probably the best out there. I read it as singles and it also had the added bonus of having the best alternate covers of the series so far too. The writing's still a decent mix of incredibly smart with very dumb puns and the ending of this arc is possibly the best so far in a series where every arc has had a powerful ending. This one blows things wide open and made me really excited to see where it goes from here.
