This was a collection of short vignettes which charted the relationship between two twins both before and after the suicide of the brother. The short nature of these vignettes was one of the pivotal reasons why I didn't enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. I was expecting to get a poignant reflection on grief and mental illness, particularly within men, but instead I got what felt like slightly interconnected vignettes which merely told me about the twins relationships and what happened between them rather than any real reflection.
