Anatomy: A Love Story by Dana Schwartz

Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.
I had high hopes for a captivating gothic romance set in Scotland, but the story fell short. The protagonist, Hazel, is an immature and privileged young woman who wants to be a surgeon in 19th-century Scotland, but I couldn't connect with her character or understand her motivations. Despite the noteworthy ambiance and setting, the story failed to keep my interest, and I eventually abandoned it. The author missed the mark in creating a relatable and captivating protagonist.
