This was really cute!! The pregnancy trope isn't my favorite, but I like how it was done here. Obviously Eve's pregnancy was a huge part of the story, but it also focused heavily on her relationships with people in her life (friends, family, acquaintances, romantic partners), which really highlighted the theme of personal growth. It was sweet that Shep always saw Eve for who she was, it just took her a little longer to realize it. I love when an adult story has coming-of-age themes. It reminds me that it's good to evolve and learn as we grow. Would def recommend this if you liked Out On A Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young!
