i have no clue why this didn't work for me. i just did not find myself compelled to keep reading at any point. the only thing i can remember (writing this far after the fact) that i enjoyed was: library sex scenes always have a soft spot in my heart. otherwise it was like..... fine. i read to almost the end! idk why i couldnt bring myself to finish but i kept trying to dnf throughout so i finally gave up. i think karina halle just might not be the author for me since i had similar feelings towards her other book that ive read
