This book was kind of boring, especially in the beginning. I think it only started getting interesting around page 120ish. I also wasn’t too fond of a lot of the characters. For example, Riley really bothered me and Gwen’s storyline just felt a bit unfinished? Idk. This book just wasn’t that interesting and there are better “who dunnit” books out there. This is unfortunate because I enjoyed some of Lapena’s other novels. I read The Couple Next Door in one day and Someone We Know was also a quick and fun read - both ended up with very high ratings. This one just missed the mark for me unfortunately.
