Wow. Where do I even begin? Sleep Tight is a masterclass in storytelling—a gripping, anxiety-inducing thriller told through multiple POVs with an intricate, complex plot and characters. This book explores heavy themes like CSA, neglect, abuse, infidelity, and mental illness with care, adding layers of depth and humanity to the story.

From the very first page, I was hooked. I couldn't predict the ending—or even what was coming next—which made every chapter a nail-biter. It’s been a long time since a book kept me so utterly on edge and completely engrossed. The tension never let up, and the way the author wove together all the plot threads was nothing short of brilliant.

The characters were another highlight for me. Markert has a way of making every person feel real and multidimensional, even the antagonists. One particular death near the end broke my heart and left me in tears—not because it was shocking, but because it felt so tragically inevitable given their upbringing. That moment really drove home how deeply this book made me feel.

This is one of the most detailed, intricate novels I’ve ever read, and it was impossible to put down. I had to keep listening, desperate to understand how everything would unfold. Markert has an incredible gift for crafting a story that is both emotionally resonant and utterly unpredictable.

Sleep Tight is a must-read for fans of thrillers, and I cannot wait to see what this author does next. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
