Well this was fantastic, the absolutely perfect escape for reality that I needed. The question that I am really asking myself now is why hadn’t I read it sooner? At this point, I have enjoyed all of Jae’s books that I have read, her characters are always likeable and well-developed, the romance is always heartwarming and full of chemistry, and the book is more often than not completely addictive. While this book was a long one, especially for lesfic romance standards, I flew through it because I just couldn’t bare to put it down. The plot was completely captivating, I loved the slow-burn romance, and the paranormal aspects were interesting. Overall it was a great book, but at this point I feel like everyone had read it already and I’m the one so far behind.
