This book was really depressing. It is AMAZINGLY written, but the things the protagonist went through either reminded me of bad memories from my past, or had me heart broken and crying seeing him go through these things. 
It's a small book, but I just could not read it without taking frequent breaks to regain my composure or forget the bad memories it brought up. Still, I goddamn loved it.
