There were definitely parts that surprised me, although in hindsight I  should have seen them coming. What bothered me most about this book was that there was a lot of buildup for things that never came to fruition.

why did she hint so heavily that Adam had been there before when he hadn't? it sounded like they both had interesting, nefarious intentions just for them to end up being the most passive, boring characters with very normal plans of getting a divorce lol. Also, poor Amelia! girl had a rough childhood and is continually being punished for an accident she caused when she was a KID! absolutely it was weird that she stalked Adam but I don't think she deserved to DIE, girl needed therapy and a restraining order.
