This rating partially comes down to me, the dear reader, creating an idea of what this was going to be like before I started it. Unfortunately my expectations were not met

I think in my mind I thought this would be similar to The Final Girl Support Group, that sort of vibe?

I think I would of liked an extra 50 to 100 pages of preamble and backstory to flesh out the characters. Which is something you will not catch me saying a lot!
Also this book is full of repetitive events ( before you say anything - yes I know that’s the point and fits the theme).

This is definitely a me problem this time, this just isn’t my cup of tea!
