This audio book memoir read by the author was an educating glimpse into the life of someone in poverty, working to not only survive, but to make a better life for herself and her daughter.

It was eye opening in terms of the things those of us above the poverty line can be doing to actually aid the less fortunate. I'm not going to try and tell you what those are, but I would encourage you to read this book and do some research to see what helps and what hurts those struggling here in America.
