This was almost like a fictional memoir told in a poetic form, if that makes any sense. While the poetry itself wasn't super compelling, the structure of the story the poems as a whole create was very lovely to read. Also, fabulous way to introduce someone to Indian mythology, I'm already planning on looking more into the topic. If you're at all interested in Nikita Gill or her style of poetry, this is a yes, but there are 100% better overall modern poets.
