Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall
5.0
To say I loved this book might be a dramatic understatement!
I adore Oliver and Luc more than I can really put into words. They’re both super relatable in different ways and everything about them (individually and as a couple) made my heart so happy.
I honestly wish I could put my feelings into words better, but basically the whole book was perfect. I’ve read quite a few fake dating books and I wasn’t expecting this one to stand out as much as it did. It’s not just the characters that make it wonderful, but the writing and style and obviously the overall plot.
Although I’m no stranger to crying and laughing out loud at books, I did more of both with Boyfriend Material than anything else (including my previous favourite).
Despite all this blabbering, there’s probably no better way to demonstrate how much I loved this than the fact that I purchased the sequel less than a minute after I’d finished it.
