Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult, Samantha van Leer
1.0
it's been a while since I read this, but I absolutely DESPISED it.
it was just dumb? it was written by the help of a teenager, and no offence, but you could tell. Oliver was irritating and not developed. Delilah was shallow and weird. they did not have any chemistry. I hated the whole "we hate men" mermaids.
Delilah was so over dramatic. Oliver pulled her into the book, and she stormed off saying how "he broke my heart, but I guess that's what love is." she literally JUST met him? and you've barely ever talked to
him, why do you think you love him?
ugh. this was just not good.
