I’m gonna be completely honest, this book has an INCREDIBLY boring premise. Nothing original about a rivals to lovers workplace romance about two people fighting for the same job while falling in love. But I am curious to see what Clare Gilmore will do to make it stick out.

UPDATE: I'M SORRY I CALLED YOU BORING LOVE INTEREST. THERE IS NOTHING BORING ABOUT THE WAY ALEXANDER HARRISON LOVES CASEY MAITLAND. In conclusion, I need to read more books with ethnic men/ men of color.
