While it might seem a bit much to give this 5 stars, there were genuinely parts of this memoir/writing advice that rewired part of my brain. The way King phrases certain things legitimately made me reconsider the way I thought about writing and, as an English major, that was a huge deal for me. 100% recommend this book, even outside of your mandatory creative writing class.
