I found this book distasteful. All of the short stories are very heterosexual, in the way that so much cishet writing is laser focused on the "hell" of dating. The one story about chronic illness (as far as I'm aware, it's where I stopped reading) made me sick to read. I cannot imagine acting that way to a fellow person period, let alone a chronically ill person. The whole 100 pages I read left me feeling alienated and grossed out.
