"The world had changed a great deal, but the little rules, contracts, and customs had not which meant the world hadn't actually changed at all."
this was very relatable because i too feel like im going insane from living in a capitalist, patriarchal, macho-feudal society. when the synopsis said "kim jiyoung is every woman," i FELT that.
i do have some problems with this book though. this book did not need to be as short as it was. it felt like the author was just summarizing everything happening in jiyoung's life instead of really letting us go through with her in her journey.
Moderate: Misogyny, Sexism, Stalking, and Gaslighting
