I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I must admit, the beginning was a bit more intriguing to me. I liked Winn and Griffin's banter. Winn was a cool character, and I enjoyed reading about her. The suspense/thriller side was also interesting, and I liked that Devney Perry combined a romance with a mystery. I also enjoyed the romance - there was no miscommunication or big break up(s). Perry seemed to paint them as a 30ish-year-old couple/working through their feelings without it being too cringey.
However, the mystery piece had a couple of holes for me that I didn't get, and I truly took off a star for the epilogue - baby #2 with a two-month-old?????? like WHAT . The writing was readable, but I sort of felt "meh." Overall, though, it was a decent read!
