I went in blind and was surprised by the dual timeline of granddaughter (present) and grandmother (1950s). Especially the past timeline really intrigued me and Evelyn is an interesting character to follow. I somehow wished the current timeline was revolving more about Evelyn and Tony. But I did quite like the Joe & Jenna storyline as well. It felt… normal, adult, non-problematic and somehow that’s refreshing in somewhat romantic book. 

This would be a perfect read during summer at the beach enjoying the joyful vibes this book gives off.
