I downloaded this ARC this morning and breezed through it so fast - what a wonderful read!

After witnessing a murder, Haley flees back to her small town roots. When she bumps into her high school bully, Cameron, she’s quick to brush him off, but he’s got other plans.

The enemies to lovers mixed with second chance romance vibes in this romance were PERFECT. I didn’t expect to like Cameron much, but that man had me swooning through 95% of this book. I want my own Cameron!

The murder mystery component of the book was really intriguing and balanced well with the romance too. I did find it a little predictable, and the ending required some stretching of belief to make everything fit…but the mystery itself was so engaging, it was easy to forgive the small plot holes.

Overall, Broken Beginnings was a fun and spicy intro to Citrus Cove, and I can’t wait to return to their town in another book!
