This book was adorable and I loved all the fun cultural references. As a rom-com lover myself, I related to Liz and her need to escape real life. I thought Lynn Painter handled Liz's grief really well. She encapsulated her loss as well as her emotions as a teenager and I could feel it coming off the page. I loved the adventures between Liz and Wes. From their funny nicknames to the shopping trips to making playlists and memories, everything was just sweet and fitting. I wish Wes and Liz would have figured out they liked each other a little sooner, but other than that I thought this was super cute.
