2666 by Roberto Bolaño
5.0
“There must be many books, many lovely pines, to shield from hungry eyes the book that really matters, the wretched cave of our misfortune, the magic flower of winter!”
Wow. At almost 900 pages, 2666 is quite an adventure!
The book takes its reader from one country to another, follows many characters through different timelines and a web of events - all somehow connecting and meeting in the middle.
Roberto Bolaño has created here a world within many; his writing style, story development and descriptions are incomparable... truly is a masterpiece.
