Another funny read from Christopher Moore, but not one of my favorites. I did enjoy how the iconic painters I knew of came to life. Whether or not they actually *had* Moore's sense of humor is another story. I realize that Moore is a 'love him or hate him' kind of author (obviously I'm in the former camp). Although I would recommend Moore's books because of its humor and touch of fantasy, I wouldn't recommend this one as a first book to give someone new to Moore's work.
